I’d like to introduce you to ALMONDS! The superfood that for many, many years has been underestimated. ‘Don’t eat so many nuts or you will be bigger than my grandma’, was often said. Nothing could be more wrong!
As the latest research shows, it’s good to refresh your friendship with almonds. You probably knew them once, but maybe put their name into the basket with the sign ‘I don’t trust them. Don’t want them. They aren’t for me.’ Especially if you are one of those ‘super weight watchers’ types.
But here they are – ALMONDS in a new context.
It It was proved recently that eating 1.5 oz (43 grams) of almonds daily reduces your appetite! The daily ratings of the desire to eat and hunger spoke for themselves. It doesn’t matter if you eat almonds with your porridge for brunch (yummmy!), fish for dinner or just as a midday snack. You still get the effect! It’s a truly a win-win situation! You got your delicious snack, you are satisfied for longer and additionally – you DON’T GAIN WEIGHT. Yes – this has also been proven! 1.5 oz is about 250 kcal, but those are calories that your body desperately needs. They will supply your body with essential fatty acids and bring you much closer to meeting the recommended daily intake of vitamin E. It goes without saying that almonds taste delicious, don’t they? (Think of almond butter :)). You feel better, your skin looks better - your brain is satisfied too (oh yeah! BOOST YOUR THINKING!).
To good to be true? Try it!!! Go do the shopping and grab your snack! That’s how your new friendship begins. GOOD LUCK!
